Senior Class Information

The 2026 BHS Senior All Night Party will take place following commencement on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Emagine Theater. The senior celebration will take place from 11 pm - 4 am. Your ticket purchase includes all activities, food, and beverages provided throughout the event.

Berkley High School Senior Class - Senior Photo Information

Dear Class of 2027 Seniors & Families,

Please read ALL of the following information regarding senior portraits, including our senior portrait date that will be held in October: 

The class of 2027 can begin to schedule a full studio sitting for their senior portrait at Prestige Portraits. Use this Prestige link to schedule an appointment at any of their locations.

The deadline to be photographed by Prestige is October 12, 2026 (This depends on when they close the Ferndale location.) Prestige will send your portrait to the yearbook staff, and it will be used for both the yearbook and the class composite. Every senior who is photographed at a Prestige studio will receive a complimentary class composite in the spring. 

If you choose NOT to sit for a full senior portrait session, Prestige will be at BHS on October 16th from 8 am to 2 pm for ALL SENIORS to take their class composite and yearbook portrait. Pictures and composites will be available for pre-order purchase. A sign up link for the quick complimentary portrait sitting will be available in September. 

If a senior does not have their picture taken with Prestige either in the studio or at BHS, they will not be included in the 2027 class composite. All seniors must take one portrait with Prestige to be included in the class composite. Portraits from an outside photographer will NOT be accepted for the class composite. 

The deadline to SUBMIT a photo taken by a studio other than Prestige is November 20, 2026. Seniors may submit a different studio portrait from a different photographer for the yearbook. We  recommend Focal Point Photography and Susan Adams Photography. This portrait must be submitted to Matt Breen no later than November 20, 2026. Please see specific guidelines for photo submissions below.

If a senior does not submit an image from another photographer for the yearbook, the yearbook staff will automatically use the portrait from Prestige.

Berkley High School Yearbook Senior Portrait Requirements 

• Photo size: 3 1/2” h  X  2 1/2” w
• Head size: 1 1/2”
• Background: A medium gray background is required
• Head and shoulder pose only.
• Remember: NO props, NO soft focus, NO hands, NO cap & gown, NO outdoor and NO sunglasses.
• Please dress appropriately, NO wording on clothes, please.
• Digital images ONLY should be submitted to Mr. Breen by November 20, 2026. Any picture that does not fit these requirements will NOT be accepted.
• Include your first and last name
• DPI: Minimum 300
• File Type: jpg files only
• Color Space: SRGB.
• Please ensure you receive a confirmation email within 2 days of portrait submission.
