Meeting Schedule
General Membership Meetings
- Typically second Thursday of the month in the East Gym - two meetings are offered (members must attend one) either before school or during lunch.
- Members can see NHS course in Schoology for dates!
Committee Leadership Meetings (Officers & Committee Leaders)
- Once per semester in Room 219 before school.
Officers Meetings
- Second Wednesday of each month in Room 175 during lunch.
Selection Process
Invitations to join NHS are sent out every February to sophomores and juniors who have been at Berkley High School at least one semester and have at least a 3.5 weighted GPA.
Applications ask the candidate to document their leadership and service. The induction ceremony is held in late April/May. Candidates must submit their application and staff recommendations typically in mid-late February. All candidates have been added to the NHS Candidates course in Schoology.
