Administration
Biography:
Mr. Andrew Meloche, Principal
Berkley High has been my home since 2007. Since I have been a member of Berkley family, I have served many roles: Math Teacher, Math Department Chair, Substitute Administrator, Varsity Softball Coach, PLC Chair, from 2014-2018 as Assistant Principal and now as Principal. All of these roles have given me perspective on what makes a successful school. I earned my Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University in 2005 and my Masters Degree in K-12 Administration from Michigan State University in 2012.
Having spent my entire career in the Berkley School District, I feel that I better understand the exceptional qualities and uniqueness it possesses. Berkley High School has become a home away from home where students, families and colleagues provide both support and motivation. It is a true Professional Learning Community where all stakeholders collaborate to raise student achievement and create lifelong learners. I know that your child(ren) will be successful here and I will work diligently to ensure that happens. Please feel free to contact me at any time or send me an email for any further inquiries.
I look forward to working along with you and your child(ren) while they are enrolled at Berkley High School.

Biography:
Mr. Brian Ericson, Assistant Principal
I began at Berkley High School in January 2025 and have truly enjoyed the warm, family atmosphere of the Berkley community.
My journey as an educator began in 2009 as a mathematics teacher. Since that time, I have served as an Assistant Principal, Co-Principal, and High School Principal at Chandler Park Academy in Harper Woods, Michigan. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, as well as master’s degrees in Educational Technology and Curriculum and Instruction. I also attended Saginaw Valley State University, earning an Education Specialist Degree in Administration.
While I have served in a variety of educational leadership roles, my mission has always remained the same: to partner with students, parents, and teachers in creating opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I strongly believe that when educators and parents communicate and collaborate, students thrive. High school is a pivotal time in a student’s development, and I enjoy working alongside students as they challenge themselves in their courses, discover their passions, and navigate the complexities of being a teenager in today’s digital era.
I am excited to be part of your child’s educational journey at BHS and look forward to working together to support their success.
